We use “regenerative” as a claim to test in practice. Our inquiry follows what happens to living places, the people carrying the work and the relationships that hold it.

The PG Ledger connects what you notice, decide and do with what happens afterwards. It keeps three readings separately visible: the living place; the capacity of its stewards to continue; and the agreements and responsibilities holding shared work. Progress in one cannot erase harm in another.

For active practice, our proposal begins with a light monthly review, adapted to local needs. The five formats support review, observation, action, decisions and financial traces, each with a different purpose. A pressing need calls for a response when it arises.
The ethical ground is Moral Biology: care must remain answerable to living conditions. You can use the public methods independently and choose what to share. Use alone creates no Association relationship or promise of support.

Knowledge in movement
Learning through return.
An observation, a conversation or a practical trial can change a question and the next action. In our practice, a small memory of what changed helps the next turn begin from a different position.
Why a spiral? We return to a question with new experience. The next turn can deepen understanding, reveal an overlooked cost or show that a pause is needed. There is no compulsory sequence. The texts and tools here can also change through what people discover in practice.
Why a web? Learning can travel between people, places and forms of knowledge, then return to the place it came from. Context, consent and uncertainty travel with it; different voices remain distinct. The Living Field describes this shared architecture.

A return may hold an observation, a changed decision, disagreement, a pause or an unexpected consequence. People choose what can be shared, with local authority, consent, privacy and usefulness first. What travels keeps its context and limits.

Spiralweb Papers holds the public inquiry: working wagers, methods, protocols, source relationships and a versioned memory of correction. Spiralweb Stewardship Association provides the legal, governance and operational ground through which selected propositions may meet situated practice.
The two functions belong to one knowledge-and-practice habitat but remain distinct. A work becomes an Association publication only through a documented decision stated on that work. Publication in Papers does not by itself create Association policy, Board authorship, local mandate or authority over a place.
Papers remains free to question the Association’s assumptions and consequences. People and places retain authority over their knowledge and may translate, correct, refuse, pause or leave a shared form. When situated learning is ready to travel, it may return to the public record with provenance, uncertainty and disagreement intact.
The whole library remains present.
